Consoles are about casual competitive games. That kind of opposition is, in all likeliness, going to destroy the game's life. The amount of time to catch up to old characters is insurmountable. This comes down to console players whining becouse they want to be the most powerfull ship in the universe.but that just isnt how startrek works.there is always a more powerful ship out there.I knew that when i joined on the P.C. side has and I for one will NEVER buy another thing from STO if i lose my purchased items Attached to my account.I dont want to do it but I will cancel my subscryptions to your company and never subscribe again either.By stripping us of our purchased items you are in affect stealing from us.I would say that a way around that is to transfer our fleets and items but then either make us start new characters or Id even be willing to pay a transfer fee.a modest one becouse it after all is us PAYING to have items we already PAID for transfered to xbox.I would like everyones thoughts on this and If theres a dev out there who can speak to this I would like to know what is going on. already it will grow on console but console players will never spend the money the P.C. ![]() in PVP but This game is 90% PVE and 10% pvp for one thing.and the other if STO dosnt want there fan base to have the things they have paid for and worked for on console thus giving us an advantage then by all mean make us creat new characters but give us the Items we PAID for.I dont mind making a new character but as for Remaking my fleet and losing all the items i spent a large amount of money on to get.I dont see how that is fair or right.Dont go down that road STO,You have a large fanbase on P.C. people who had previouse accounts would be O.P. Once either of those one-time processes is complete, your accounts will be linked! Please note that in order to unlink your accounts, you will need to contact Customer Support for assistance.Iv heard recently that STO is thinking of not allowing STO fans who have characters and paid for materials on the P.C to transfer our belongings or our fleets over to xbox. This i do not understand.Iv heard all of the complaints that P.C. This auto-creates an Arc account and links it to your Steam account. If you are a first time user or do not have an Arc account, you will need to use the “Don’t have an account?” field and register. Logging in will automatically link your Steam account with your existing Arc account. When players first run the game through Steam after the linking feature is enabled, they will be shown the following options on the launcher: Here’s how it works: Steam Linking How-to: Just press “Play,” and you’ll be logged into your Arc account automatically. Once you’ve done that, you can launch both games directly from Steam. Starting tomorrow, you’ll be required to link your Steam Account to your Arc Account. This will only roll out to a small amount of users at first, but should be available to all users by February 20 th. ![]() We want to make that whole process easier for you, so on February 18 we will be enabling Steam Account linking for Neverwinter and Star Trek Online. We know one of the frustrating pain points of playing our games on Steam is having to log in at least twice just to play. We will provide additional updates as they become available. Any account that was linked prior to the feature being disabled will honor that linking. We have temporarily disabled the Steam-Arc account linking feature.
